Xarona is a secure online platform built to help individuals record life milestones, structure personal memories, and plan their final farewell or memorial arrangements. The core challenge was to handle sensitive, deeply personal subjects with extreme empathy, clarity, and security.
Beyond the public-facing platform and user dashboard, the scope required designing specialized mobile application wireframes and a dedicated business dashboard tailored for funeral service providers (funerarias) who offer these memorial and planning services to their clients.
The Approach
The design and architecture prioritized a seamless, comforting, and highly intuitive user experience to guide users through delicate life planning.
Public-Facing Frontend UI: Designed clean, emotional, and engaging landing pages featuring distinct thematic touchpoints (from honoring beloved pets to documenting family milestones) and transparent pricing tiers (Probeeren, Bronze, Silver, Gold).
User Dashboard & Milestone Tracking: Developed immersive user flows and dark-mode dashboard interfaces allowing individuals to organize their survival details, interact with interactive timeline media players, view personal photo/video archives, and manage personal notes safely.
Trustee Management & Farewell Planning: Built structured workflows enabling users to assign and coordinate with trusted contacts (trustees) who gain secure access when needed, alongside detailed instructions for memorial services.
B2B Dashboard for Funeral Providers (Funerarias): Created specialized wireframes and workflows for funeral homes, allowing providers to securely coordinate service plans, manage client accounts, and integrate legacy packages seamlessly into their offerings.
